I was enjoying the sun in my back yard whilst doing yard work. I was going form the yard to the house taking a break every half hour due to the blazing sun. During one of my trips into the house with my puppy following me throughout my ventures into the yard and the house it became apparent she had a bump on her nose. My first reaction was that it was a bee sting. I rubbed peppermint oil extract on her nose bridge to reduce the swelling. I concluded that she would be fine and that the swelling would go down within an hour or so and if not them she would receive cold and hot press treatment.
Well she did not learn her lesson the 1st time unfortunately. Once she was allowed back outside when I went to continue my yard work she got into the ant hill. I guess the 1st bite was a warning from one of the ants, enough to scare her away but when she was allowed back outside she decided to get vengeance as all puppies love to do. I assume she attempted to destroy the ant hill and she was attacked viciously by the entire colony. When she was rescued we sprayed ASEA on her from head to toe. She was mostly bitten on the face, some on the body and even some on her genitals. We prayed ASEA over her entire body and concentrated on areas that were worse off than the rest. After 15 mins of allowing it to soak in I made a baking soda/water mixture and covered any areas that had large lumps with the paste. I prayed water in a spritzer bottle on her from time to time to keep the paste wet. When the baking soda/water paste becomes dry it flakes off and doesn't do any good. I had a zip lock bag of spinach and held it to her eyes which were blood shot and puffy. The cold pack treatment on her eyes where I could only spray ASEA reduced within an hour.
After four hours of close watch and continuous care she had all of her swelling reduced and had little to no bumps left from the ant bites.
